It's not often I'm struck by a higher ed web page of any sort, but Princeton's admissions page got me at hello. I found it as I was browsing the 2008 CASE award winners for Web Sites, where they rightfully got a mention. The main images changes each time you refresh, as do the faculty and student profiles in the lower left promos. All of the images are super striking and make me want to click around to learn more. Truly powerful. When and only when you have incredible photography and it has to be constantly updated, can you get away with a site that is mostly one gigantic photograph.

I'm totally with you although I do see a few minor SEO things I would update. ;)
Somehow I don't think Princeton needs to be worrying much about SEO...I bet they are doing just fine ;-)
